It started with a bedtime story.

Our founder Jeff — known to everyone who loves him as JayJay — received a story written just for him. A tale of a boy and his golden dog Duke, sailing on a cloud boat among the stars, meeting gentle giants in a glowing valley, floating on a silver moonlit sea while a whale sang them to sleep.

It was beautiful. It was personal. It felt like something that could only ever have been written for him.

And that's when the idea arrived — quietly, the way the best ideas do.
